So its been a really fast year of new happenings, events,
learning along the way, many changes...and some hard spots...
Another year all gone...so do we look back and relive it with shoulda coulda woulda's?...
no, I don't think so ...
God has given us memories...so we look back with thankfulness...
--thankfulness to remember what we've been a part of in God's plan and big picture...
--thankfulness for the opportunity to grow and learn in His presence
--Thankfulness for joys and yes, even some sorrows, too.
--Thankfulness for the Hope Everlasting we have in Him.
Then what would we do for this next year?
Continue to walk with Him each step ...
remind ourselves of the things we've learned along the way
Hold strong to His promises...
and be assured of His provision
be changed and renewed daily in His Word and prayer...
Phil 4:4-7 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! 5 Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. 6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Press on toward the new year and adventures He has before us.
Seek a deeper "friendship" or "walk" with our Lord and enjoy Him.
It's time to Refresh our minds in the "whatevers"
Phil 4:8,9 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. 9 Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice.
And the God of peace will be with you.
and with the eyes of our heart wide open...
be sensitive to His calling on our daily moments...
be available to those He puts in our paths...
Show His love and mercy,
share His joy and hope...
Be a Blessing ..
and truly live the new life He's given us.
Micah 6:8 NIV He has shown you, O man, what is good.
And what does the LORD require of you?
To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.
